Box hire
A hard shell for your bike.
Hard-shell bike boxes, currently collected from Manly, Sydney, with bike-shop hubs in other cities being added. The Bike Box Alan EasyFit ($20/day) takes road, gravel, TT and mountain bikes. No deposit, hire from 7 days — and after 10 days every extra day is charged at 50% of the daily rate, up to 25% off the hire.
Packing
Let a hub pack it.
Don’t fancy packing it yourself? At participating hubs, drop your bike off and pick up a packed, ready-to-fly box. $160, added when you book.
Rebuild
Built back up when you’re home.
Return the box with your bike still inside and a participating hub rebuilds it for you ($160) — or book packing and rebuild together for $300 and never touch a torque wrench.
