Become a hub

Bike Box Hire Aus hires hard-shell bike boxes from its base in Manly, Sydney, and we're now recruiting bike-shop hubs in other Australian cities. A hub keeps our boxes on site. Cyclists book and pay online, collect a box from you before they fly, and bring it back when they're home. You earn on every hire.

The model is already running at our sister business, Bike Box Hire UK, which began in 2021 and now works with 30+ bike-shop hubs across the UK. We use the same booking platform here.

The shops that join now are our founding hubs. Tell us where you are and a little about your shop, and we'll be in touch to talk through how it would work for you, including the commercial terms.

How it works for a hub

Bookings come to you

Customers find your shop on our hub map, then book and pay online. You get an email for each booking, so you know which box is going out and when.

A hub portal

See upcoming collections and returns in your hub portal, and scan the box’s QR code when it comes back.

Workshop services, if you want them

You can offer bike packing and rebuild as paid add-ons that customers book with their hire. It’s optional.

Your opening days

You set the days you’re closed, public holidays included, and customers can only choose collection and return dates when you’re open.
